Belgica information (en): Point which marks the south side of the entrance to Buls Bay on the SE coast of Brabant Island, in the Palmer Archipelago. Discovered by the Belgian Antarctic Expedition, 1897-1899, under Adrien de Gerlache, and named by him for Count Hippolyte d’Ursel, President of the Royal Belgian Geographical Society and member of the House of Representatives, who proposed that the government should subsidize the expedition. |

Belgica information (fr): Cap marquant le côté sud de l’entrée de la baie Buls sur la côte sud-est de l’île Brabant, dans l’archipel Palmer. Découvert par l’expédition belge en Antarctique de 1897-1899, sous le commandement d’Adrien de Gerlache, qui le baptisa en l’honneur du comte Hippolyte d’Ursel, président de la Société royale belge de géographie et membre de la Chambre des représentants. Il proposa au gouvernement de subsidier l’expédition. |

Belgica information (nl): Deze kaap vormt de zuidkant van de toegang tot Buls Baai op de zuidoostkust van Brabant Eiland in de Palmer Archipel. De Belgische Antarctica expeditie (1897-1899) onder leiding van Adrien de Gerlache ontdekte de kaap en noemde die naar graaf Hippolyte d’Ursel, voorzitter van de Société Royale Belge de Géographie die als lid van de kamer van volksvertegenwoordigers voorstelde dat de regering de expeditie financieel moest steunen. |
